- DANCE IMPROVISATION AND COMPOSITION WORKSHOP -
“... centers of weight, expressiveness in balance” with Romain Thibaud-Rose
Sat 11th and Sun 12th of February 2012, from 3 p.m to 6 p.m
After a physical guidance to warm-up the body and to bring it on a higher level of energy, we will explore first how to locate our 3 centers of weight placed along the spine (pelvis, thoracic vertebra and base of the skull). Then I will invite you to play with discovering for each of this center its own range of mobility. Finally we will play with placing them in unknown and challenging configuration of space, of time and of connections with others and with the music.
Romain Thibaud-Rose, is at the beginning of his artistic career as a dancer. The opportunity of teaching non professional is a big interest in romain's desire of understanding the movement, away from codified form and closer to authentic and creative pattern.
This workshop will be lead with live electronic music from Tobias Schmitt (www.acrylnimbus.de).
